It's PENNY DAY!!!

Pennies From Heaven
A long, long time ago -
A million years B.C. -
The best things in life
Were absolutely free.
But no one appreciated
A sky that was always blue.
And no one congratulated
A moon that was always new.
So it was planned that
They would vanish now and then,
And you must pay before
You get them back again.
That's what storms were made for,
And you mustn't be afraid;
Just trust for every "dark time",
A plan has sure been made!
'Cause every time it rains,
It rains pennies from heaven.
Don't you know each cloud contains
Pennies from Heaven?!
You'll find your fortune falling ...
... All over town...
So be sure that your umbrella
Is ... UPside down!!
Trade them for a package of
Sunshine and flowers.
If you want the things you love,
You must have showers!
So when you hear it thunder,
Don't run under a tree.
There'll be pennies from Heaven
For you ... and ... me!

Penny Facts
If you find a penny with ears of wheat on the back and a portrait of Lincoln on the front, that's a Wheat Back Penny. According to Bobbitt, that penny is worth between $50 and $100.
Another penny to pinch is an Indian Head Penny. If you find one of these in your spare change, hold onto it. It may be worth between $50 and $75.
Penny Legends
If you find a penny, make a wish on it. If you spend it, your wish won't come true.
If you find a penny facing up, your day will be beautiful. Do you suppose that's because it's looking up at God?
Some people keep found pennies as lucky pennies, hoping that the longer they are held the stronger the chance will be that the wish will come true.
Instead of keeping a wishing-penny that they have found, some folks put the penny where someone else can find it. It's a fun thing to do, and if the finder is also a penny-wisher who wishes on it, the chance of the original finder's wish coming true increases.
You don't have to find a penny to initiate a wishing-penny chain. You can make a wish on a penny and turn it into a wishing-penny by leaving it somewhere, hoping a penny-wisher will find it. Even if the person's not a penny-wisher, lots of people consider a found penny a lucky penny.
For good luck, keep a penny in your shoe.
(Remember "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue ... and a penny in your shoe"?)

I found a little penny today
Just lying on the ground.
But it’s not just any penny,
This little coin I found.
Found pennies come from Heaven,
That’s what my Grandpa told me.
It's how the Angels touch me
When they cannot hold me.
He said when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down.
Sometimes just to cheer you up
And make a smile out of your frown.
So don’t pass by that penny
When you’re feeling sad and blue,
It may be a penny from Heaven
That an Angel tossed to you.
