Mikey's birthday is Friday. He will be 6 years old, and he's already gotten a couple of early birthday cards. Mikey had 3 doctors appointments last week. He's still eating and has LOTS of energy, and SEEMS to be getting stronger, too. He is enjoying life SO much, and making life SO enjoyable for us, too. Blowing out the candles! Feb 16th, 2001... And Mikey is blowing out the candles for another birthday.. He's 6 years old today. Mikey took cupcakes to school with him for a birthday treat. He celebrated early with a pizza party at Chuck E. Cheese, played the games and then he had cake and ice cream, and then... it was time to play with his presents! Feb 23rd, 2001... And Mikey is in bed.. not feeling too well. He attended school today, but I could tell that he was getting sick when I picked him up from school. He seems to just have a bad cold. He's very congested, but doesn't seem to be running a fever right now. He'll just have to stay in bed for a little while and get a little TLC until he's better.
