SPRING BREAK MIKEY!!
March 31st, 2002... Happy Easter!
Mikey spent his Spring Break in Springfield with his brother Joey and Brittney, and we all had a GREAT time. While we were there, they took us to a unique restaurant, "Lambert's", where they actually throw food.. Mikey thought that was way cool! They have really good homemade meals and "pass arounds". The pass arounds are delivered in buckets and are full of okra, fried potatoes and onions, black-eyed peas, macaroni and tomatoes, etc. As the endless batches of hot rolls come out of the oven, they are thrown across the restaurant to anyone with their hands up.
Not everyone is a great catch, which makes things interesting AND entertaining. We caught MOST of ours,
although one DID bounce off of mom's head first!
Mikey spent most of his spring break in the water!
And when he got back home, his Aunt Carol and Uncle Rusty were here, so he spent even more time swimming in the pool at their motel with them, his cousins, and Uncle Bob.
Thank You, Lord, for sending us Mikey. Thank You for looking out for him and keeping him safe. Thank You for Mikey's life, and the wonderful Christian witness that he has. God is good!
