November, 5th 2006... Mikey is well.. thank You, Lord. In the photo above, Mikey and niece Emily are wearing their "trick-or-treat" costumes over at brother Joe's house. They also went out "begging" at our church's fall festival, out at our mall, and the restaurant where mom

works. Mikey was dressed in hunter's garb, looking a little too much like Elmer Fudd! And our little princess Emily was aptly dressed like a princess. In the photo below, Mikey and Emily are pictured with Patrick last night at Patrick's birthday party. God is good. LIFE is good when you're walking in the FOG (Favor Of God)!

November, 12th 2006... Lions' Basketball! Mikey is well.. thank You, Lord. In the photo above, Mikey can be seen with Emily and Zane (Pastor Don's grandson) at the basketball game. We all love to watch our UAFS (University of Arkansas Fort Smith) Lions play. Our guys won the national championship last year. The players from our championship team have moved on, as has our coach, so... we're starting off this season with a new coach and new players.. a period of rebuilding. But we are still winning.. 4-1 for the season thus far. Mikey loves the games AND the big hot dogs. Emily loves the lights, the noise, the action, the popcorn and ALL the snacks!

We had games Friday and Saturday night. Last night we watched the fireworks downtown, celebrating Veteran's Day, before the Lions tipoff. Today is our church's big 89th Anniversary Service! God is good. LIFE is good when you're walking in the FOG (Favor Of God)!

November, 19th 2006... MORE Lions' Basketball! Mikey is well.. thank You, Lord. In the photo above, Mikey can be seen with little Emily again at the game. Our Fort Smith Lions won again, and they are now 7-1 for the season. Not bad for a new team!

Today our church is providing a free Thanksgiving meal for the community. We're expecting another GREAT Thanksgiving here.. nice weather.. sunny 70° forecast for thursday, and we have SO MUCH to be thankful for! Mikey is still doing well. He'll have another pacemaker check next week, and he'll be scheduled to see his cardiologists in Little Rock soon. And we will be able to get his braces soon. God is good. LIFE is good when you're walking in the FOG (Favor Of God)!
