Peg's Grandchildren had built a Website, and wanting to
show them she was a grandma who was with the times she decided to build one
also. Since the beginning, Peg has maintained her site to be family oriented and safe
for her grandchildren; however though the years she has also found many new areas
of interest and her site shows her versatility.
Peg has been blessed with a wonderful family. Her
soul-mate and loving husband Bobby, whom Peg says is the world's hand's down, no
contest, lifetime guaranteed greatest husband. Seven grown children and
twelve grandchildren. Peg has recently become a great-grandmother to two
beautiful twin girls, Hannah and Hailey. To say she is proud is an understatement. You
can read about these magnificent young ladies and the events surrounding their
birth on Peg's Website. Peg's mother, Mary Jane lives with her and has
become a loving friend to many of the Divas of the Net.
Peg worked for the Ramona Unified School District as a Child Health, Welfare, and Attendance Officer
for twenty five years. She is currently a Deputy Sheriff and writes a
weekly article for her local newspaper. Retirement certainly didn't stop
Peg from her busy and fulfilling life.
When asked what makes her happy, Peg has a litany of answers
and her happiness over both large and small things in life brings smiles to her
family and friends faces.

A baby's smile. Warm winds; firm hugs. Friends who care.
Summer evenings. Winter afternoons. Fall days. Dancing, even if only a few steps,
with Bobby. A child's face when he thought he couldn't do something and DOES it!
Old photo albums. People who tell you what the pictures ARE! Sunshine. Raindrops. Birdsong. Coyotes calling.
Puddles of puppies. Baby ANYthings! A day without predominant pain. Seeing the "Texas Star" out my bedroom window.
Rippling brooks. People with the ability to laugh at themselves. Email from a Grandchild. Butterfly wings.
Lasting love. Wonderful memories. Laughing with a friend. Crying with a friend.
Questions like this! Being chosen Honored Diva.

In everyone's life comes some sadness and Peg is no
exception. She sheds tears over any child who is in pain, physically or emotionally.
Her heart grows heavy when she sees anything or anyone dying. Her own
powerlessness in making her family well again when one becomes ill. If
granted just two wishes, Peg would reverse her mother's failing health and take
away her daughter's cancer.
Peg feels every problem she has faced in life is a lesson she
has learned. One thing she knows is her family is always there to hold her
hand and give her support as she travels life's twisting roads.
In addition to many causes Peg supports, she is relentless
in her pursuit of informing every one about the plight of the POW/MIA's.
She joined Operation Just Cause and created an outstanding page for her Adopted American
Hero. In his honor she has purchased a flag which the American Legion raises on
eight holidays per year on the "Avenue of Flags" at the entrance to her community.
She feels it is vital that no one forget or allow anyone else to forget the
heros who gave their all for our freedom.
Peg is the Chairperson for the Holiday Committee. Since
she has taken over this position the Divas have enjoyed many wonderful
Holidays. She always has great ideas and follows them though. We
have had many fun filled hours hunting for witches, making friendship quilts,
touring our sisters sites. Every Diva of the Net is excited and waits in anticipation
of what Peg will have us doing next. Peg is also a Mentor for the Divas.
She takes the hand of many new Divas helping them to become better aquatinted
with the organization. Peg also works on the Social Committee. The
Divas of the Net are fortunate to have met Peg and to count her as one of our
closest friends.

What The Divas Mean To Me:
The Divas are my cyber FAMILY, pure and simple. I flaunt my membership with justifiable pride. The standards set and maintained here make it a
safe place for all of us. I love the prevailing attitude that not only CAN we make improvements; we NEED to make those improvements.
Differences are natural and GOOD, as long as they are met with understanding, open mindedness, love, and respect. We are all equal
here, but we are not all the SAME. There is a vast difference in the two. We have a tremendous opportunity here in learning how others feel,
and, more importantly, WHY they feel that way! My Diva Sisters laugh with me, cry with me, pray with me, and STAY with me. I try always to
make them feel as cherished here as they make me feel.
Why I joined:
Diva Barbara was my "rescuer" when I had despaired of EVER getting my site up and running! I spent a LOT of time in her site ~S~, and kept
returning to her Diva pages, and asking her about them. She told me flat-out that Diva of the 'Net was NOT just something to join - it was
something to BELONG to! She had me visit lots of Diva sites, and read the Creed and Pledge, and be sure this was something I really wanted
before I even applied. Obviously, I liked what I saw!! "Diva" said to me then what it continues to say to me today -- the absolute cream of
the crop.....ladies who can and DO make a difference in the world around them, in ways both great and small. Thank you all for being here, and
for being what you ARE!

*Diva Peg*
You are a special part
Of all that we hold
Dear to hearts.
And when the days
And miles divide us,
Our friendship still
Lives on inside us.
The dreams we've shared,
the laughter, too,
We love the friend
We've Found In You.
