To Mary Jane's Scrapbook!

One of Grandma's favorite memories is of Johnny sitting in her chair, playing his guitar, while Ria sat on the footstool with the sheet music; and they sang "The Rose" for her, in such sweet harmony. So we chose the song and background for her album. You can hear the song (though not THEIR version!) by clicking on the midi below.

As a result of that star-crossed meeting, there came to be:
     
their children; Stormy, Peggy, Susan, and John.
(There is a 40 year gap between these pictures;
the kids all being in the same order was purely co-incidental!)
