Calendar of Events
In September we:
Had clean-up day at the ball field
Had out first "Age vs: Youth" baseball game
(The kids won, and Joe couldn't walk for a week! ~laffin~)
Had a bonfire and hot dog roast with 42 people there
Had a Teen Dance at the Community Center with 82 teens attending
Managed the "Dunk Tank" at Cordes Lakes Daze
(This time Joe could still walk, but boy! was he WET!!!)
In October, we will:
On the 7th, at 3:00 p.m. at the High School, have a baseball game
with our Sheriffs and Firemen (rescheduled due to weather - TBA)
On the 13th, all, day, at the Richardson's, have a
"Treasures and Trash" Yard Sale
(Take home a "Mary Jane Memory" and help our building fund grow!)
On the 31st, at 6:00 p.m. have a Teen Costume Party at the Community Center.
(Bring a can of food to get in - we have several charities we are helping with!!)
We are part of a Memorial Quilt.

We are also collecting OLD EYEGLASSES. You know the ones; the prescription doesn't work
for you anymore, but they were too good to throw away, so you put them in "that" drawer we all
have that's full of stuff like that! The Lion's Club matches these glasses up with people who need
but cannot afford them. Call Kim to arrange for pick-up; we would like to have a HUGE assortment
to take to the Lions, and truly make the holidays a little brighter for the visually impaired!
